Fashion Illustration 2: Mermaid Gown

After creating The Red Gown, I was inspired to create another fashion illustration. As the temperatures warmed up, I was inspired to create a beach-themed look.

Looking back at some of my prints, I realized that a mermaid-inspired look was perfect for this theme!

Creative Tuesdays: Candy

The newest Creative Tuesdays theme is "candy." I had made a set of 16 abstracts, as previously introduced in my posts Creative Tuesdays: Monogram and Illustration Friday: Liquid.

At the time I made this abstract, I was thinking of the patterns and glossy textures you might see on a rainbow lollipop. Then, I added a varnish to give it that "juicy" look:
