Art Exhibit at Lan Su Chinese Garden: November & December

My artwork is currently on display at the Lan Su Chinese Garden! The show will run for November and December and feature selections of my original block printmaking artwork and handmade one-of-a-kind illustrations.

Visitors frequent the garden all year as it provides a relaxing oasis and the flowers and plants change with every season! November is Mumvember with more than 750 potted chrysanthemums. Majority of the garden is sheltered with beautiful architecture and bridge walkways to enjoy at a leisurely pace. And of course, there's a tea house! Along the walk, you can find my artwork in a display room.

Honored to be exhibiting at the Lan Su Chinese Garden and I hope you enjoy the art while having a relaxing visit! The garden is open every day of the week, 10 AM - 4 PM.

Exploring the effects of adding digital features to a hand-drawn media page - I started with original photographs of the everyday and created backgrounds pulling color palettes from the elements - then adding handwriting narratives to set the mood for each piece. Each photo is blended into its complementary backdrop.
