Hi everyone,
This week, I am
sharing a sample of some of my newest creations and projects. First, I'm
sharing my swan linocut print:
This
print is available at the Novi Gallery.
You
can also find this print at my Zazzle store!

This
next project comes from my series of abstracts. I previously shared my Ocean
Abstract painting in the Lincoln Park Art Walk Exhibit Post:
© Ocean Abstract by Abigail Davidson; Mediums: Acrylic and modeling paste on stretched canvas; Size: 12x12 inches |
As I was
photographing this piece for documentation, I started to realize how cool it
looked zooming in on some of the bits of texture and gloss. It quickly
developed into a series of snapshots from this one painting. I experimented
with different angles and lighting to create brand-new artworks from the
original:

As you can
imagine, there are many other close-up shots, but I decided to focus on these
five.
I'm going to be
taking close-ups of the other paintings as well, so please be sure to check
back for those!
I had so much fun
with the camera!
For this next project, I decided to develop another
illustrated recipe! This is my third one, and you can now see it at They Draw & Cook, founded by
Nate Padavick and Salli Swindell:
