Print of the Week and Newest Projects

Hi everyone,
This week, I am sharing a sample of some of my newest creations and projects. First, I'm sharing my swan linocut print:

This print is available at the Novi Gallery.
You can also find this print at my Zazzle store!

You can see more of my bird linocut prints here:
This next project comes from my series of abstracts. I previously shared my Ocean Abstract painting in the Lincoln Park Art Walk Exhibit Post:

As I was photographing this piece for documentation, I started to realize how cool it looked zooming in on some of the bits of texture and gloss. It quickly developed into a series of snapshots from this one painting. I experimented with different angles and lighting to create brand-new artworks from the original:

As you can imagine, there are many other close-up shots, but I decided to focus on these five.
I'm going to be taking close-ups of the other paintings as well, so please be sure to check back for those!

I had so much fun with the camera!

For this next project, I decided to develop another illustrated recipe! This is my third one, and you can now see it at They Draw & Cook, founded by Nate Padavick and Salli Swindell:

More illustrated recipes, as well as other drawings, are in-the-making!

I am always creating new prints, paintings, and illustrations in my studio. You can find more of my work here or at my Pinterest page. Thank you to everyone who left such sweet comments on my Beach Print post and for sharing your lovely artwork! I appreciate it!
Thank you for stopping by and happy illustrating!

  11. The swan print is so sweet - it reminds me of some of the children's books I read to my daughter and my grandson. Those are fabulous close up shots of your ocean abstract. They are like little sculptures.
